Crumb
Payment alerts → Splitwise drafts, reviewed before they post
Overview
Most shared expenses are missed not because people don't care, but because the moment passes — a grocery order arrives, someone pays for dinner, the notification disappears, and the Splitwise entry never gets made. Crumb fixes this by listening for payment alerts (HDFC, ICICI, Pluxee, Blinkit, Swiggy, Instamart, Zepto, Zomato), parsing them locally into draft expenses, and letting the user review before anything posts to Splitwise. On Android it uses a native notification listener. On iOS it relays messages via a Shortcuts Automation to ntfy.sh, which the app imports and parses. Crumb is intentionally review-first — it never blindly posts raw alerts.
